The survey undertaken by LSPU is the first survey in this country looking specifically at the travel needs of black and other ethnic minority people. The survey was planned by LSPU in consultation with 110 community and voluntary groups. The main indicators that have been selected for analysis in this paper are (i) residential location, (ii) car availability, (iii) economic activity, (iv) trip making and (v) personal safety. |
