THE CONFINING STRING AND ITS TENSION FOR SU(2) GAUGE-FIELDS IN 2+1 DIMENSIONS
We investigate confinement in D=3 SU(2) lattice gauge theory. We confirm the approximately linear character of confinement at large distances.
