In Chapter Two, I discuss the nature of pragmatic genealogy. In Chapter Three, I develop a pragmatic genealogy of reasons based on the need to reconcile conflicting beliefs and desires in both individual and communal settings. In Chapter Four, I respond to possible objections. In Chapter Five, I apply the information gained from our genealogy to address our three central questions and argue that it turns out that pragmatic genealogy is a methodology uniquely suited to doing so.</p> |
