Samenvatting:We report the first experimental observation of a direct relationship between electron transport in different nanocrystalline TiO2 thin films and the photovoltaic performance of TiO2 /MEH-PPV composite solar cells made using these same TiO2 films. We show that the transient behaviour in the composite solar cells under illumination can be explained by the transient photoconductivity performance of the TiO2 layer. © IOP Publishing Ltd.
