Ligand effects in the organolithium-mediated enantioselective alpha-deprotonation of achiral epoxides
The enantioselective α-deprotonation-rearrangement of achiral epoxides using organolithiums with C2-symmetric ligands [bisoxazolines 4a-d and (-)-α-isosparteine 5] is described.
