As so many innovations in the field of assisted reproductive technology, however, sex selection raises difficult moral and legal issues. In this paper, we focus on the question whether or not sex selection calls for a legal ban. Since it does not seem to imply any serious harm to others, we argue in favour of the legalization of sex selection.
