Sumari:Important statistical principles and key methodological challenges in the study design, statistical analysis, and reporting of results from in vivo studies are considered along with the underlying statistical principles and practical suggestions. The importance of pre-specifying endpoints and analysis, the common underlying assumption of statistically independent observations, sample size considerations, and multiplicity issues are considered. Additionally, the reporting of results and graphical presentations are also discussed.
