INTERNAL-ENERGY DISTRIBUTIONS IN THE FRAGMENTS OF IR MULTIPLE-PHOTON DISSOCIATION

The rotational-energy distributions in CN(X 2 Σ +, ν″ = 0) radicals formed in the IR multiple-photon dissociation of C2H3CN, have been shown to vary markedly with time during the dissociating laser pulse, an effect caused by the IR laser intensity. © 1981 Società Italiana di Fisica.
