Description
Summary:We report photoluminescence and photoluminescence excitation spectroscopy of the one-dimensional electron system confined in single, modulation-doped v-groove quantum wire using a variable-temperature, scanning nearfield optical microscope. This technique permits the study of 1D Fermi edge singularity in the absence of inter-wire inhomogeneous broadening.
