ON THE VALUE AND ORIGIN OF THE CHIRAL CONDENSATE IN QUENCHED SU(2) LATTICE GAUGE-THEORY

We present results of a numerical calculation of the chiral condensate in quenched SU(2) lattice gauge theory.
