CONTINUOUS MELT PROCESSING OF YBCO THICK-FILMS ON ZIRCONIA RODS

This paper presents new work carried out on 50μm thick-films of YBa2Cu3O7-δ on yttria-stabilised Zirconia rods, which have been melt-processed using an Infra-red furnace. The results indicate that Jc's higher than the 3000 A/cm2 achieved so far are not impossible. Transport and magnetisation re...
