Description
Summary:The electrochemical studies of the reaction of anaesthetic agent enflurane with electrogenerated superoxide in the presence of oxygen was presented. The superoxide anion radical, formed from the electro-reduction of dissolved oxygen reacted with enflurane. It was found that the electro-reduction of oxygen in the presence of enflurane is dependent on the electrode size and enflurane concentration.
