SOSS-INTAC: a new gatekeeper of genomic integrity at the interface of transcription and R-loops
A recent Nature paper by Xu et al describes an important link between RNA polymerase II promoterproximal pausing and genome stability maintenance orchestrated by liquid droplet formation to reduce unwanted R-loop accumulation.
