We use a paradigm case where the clinician is invited to offer advice that may go beyond what is strictly clinical. We suggest that literature on professional boundaries should focus more on aspects of practice with the potential to be morally praiseworthy. We also suggest that ethics education, rather than just being about solving dilemmas, should also be about the manner in which the clinician should be involved. |
