Study of semileptonic decays of B mesons to charmed baryons

Sumario:Using data collected by the CLEO II detector at a center-of-mass energy on or near the Y(4S) resonance, we have determined the 90% confidence level upper limit β(B̄→Λ+ce -X)/β(B̄→(Λ+c or Λ̄-c)X)<0.05 for electrons with momentum above 0.6 GeV/c. We have also obtained the limit β(B-→Λ+cp̄e -ν̄e)/β(B̄ →Λ+cp̄X)<0.04 at the 90% confidence level and measured the ratio β(B̄→Λ+cp̄X)/β(B̄→(Λ+c or Λ-c)X) =0.57± 0.05±0.05.
