The measured moment can be well interpreted using empirical magnetic moments of neighbouring odd-A antimony and tin nuclei. The change in Iπ=3+ moments between116-120Sb is well accounted for by the variation in the odd neutron contribution, the odd proton acting as a spectator. © 1987 J.C.
