Because of its gaseous nature transport poses a major obstacle to a more thorough penetration of world-wide energy markets. This obstacle can be overcome by long-term investments in transport infrastructure. This paper looks at projects designed to overcome the geographical limitations of the utilisation of Middle Eastern natural gas: the latest four Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) projects in the region. |
