Тойм:A largely unexplored feature of structural transformation is the shifting composition of assets, corresponding to the changing sectoral composition of output. As economies develop, there is a tendency for wealth to shift from land – normally the most important form of wealth in poor agrarian economies – to a wider range of assets, including housing, financial assets and business assets. This paper contributes to the literature by examining how the patterns of asset holdings have changed during two decades of economic growth in Ghana.
