WARD SPLITTING CONSTRUCTION FOR STATIONARY AXISYMMETRIC SOLUTIONS OF THE EINSTEIN-MAXWELL-EQUATIONS
Two ways of obtaining the stationary axisymmetric reduction of the Einstein-Maxwell equations from the anti-self-dual Yang-Mills equations are related by a symmetry of Yang's equations. Both can be used to generate Einstein-Maxwell fields by Ward's splitting construction.
