Preliminary investigations into the performance of different shaped blades for the rotary tillage of wet rice soil

This work considers two aspects of rotary tillage of wet (supersaturated) soils by power-driven soil-engaging blades, viz. power requirement of blades; forward thrust due to blades. The shape of the blades was found to be an important factor greatly affecting both these aspects. © 1970.
