description An interface is developed using the program of C++ to communicate the analog to digital converter (ADC) circuit with the computer. Since the parallel port has the facility to transfer data both in and out, between the PC and also the circuit, this computer program is executed by parallel port. The parallel port is operated using binary logic, which is also known as digital logic. The data lines in the parallel port from pint to pin 8 are connected to the circuit and read the digital codes from the circuit. The digital codes returned are switched to the voltages in the array of data in the programming. Finally, the calculation is done based on the switched voltage and returns the wind velocity output. The voltage and corresponding wind velocity are recorded in an excel file. The data are recorded at every single second as well as the system is operated to optimize the accuracy. The data created in the excel file are including the venue of the operation, the starting and the ending time of the operation, voltage generated and also the corresponding wind velocity. The data can be easily compared using the interface of the chart plotting implemented. This chart plotting interface is also implemented by C++ which includes comparisons in term of pie chart and bar chart.
