| description | The present invention relates to a desk characterized by: a supporting frame (10) having a horizontal portion (11), an arcuate portion (12), and an inclined portion (13); a pivoting rod (14) received in the arcuated portion (12); a desk top (20) mounted on the supporting frame (10) comprising a front wall (22) having a frontal opening (23), a base (25) having a base opening (26) adjacent to the frontal opening (23), a longitudinal recess (27), wherein the base (25) rests on the horizontal portion (11) of the supporting frame (10) in a horizontal position, or rests on the inclined portion (13) of the supporting frame (10) in a tilted position; a horizontal position locking mechanism comprising a retainer (31) for engaging the longitudinal recess (27) of the base (25) for locking the horizontal position of the desk top (20); a tilted position locking mechanism comprising a latch (41) having a loop portion (43) and a stand portion (44), and a latch guide (42) coupled to the supporting frame (10), wherein the stand portion (44) engages with the latch guide (42) for locking the tilted position of the desk top (20), and wherein pulling the loop portion (43) downward enables the stand portion (44) to release from the latch guide (42).
