Struktur hibrid polimer-logam berbentuk silinder mengunakan polimer jenis gentian kaca dan logam aloi sebagai pelapik yang dikenakan tekanan dalam tinggi masih dalam peringkat pembangunan. Gentian kaca dengan susunan kuasi-isotropic menyaluti keluli tahan karat adalah fokus utama dalam kajian ini.
