| description | This research was carried out to build and evaluates the production of the
educational documentary videos in the form of CD-ROM for the 'Consumer
Behavior' subject in the title of Consumerism. CD-ROM was built in conjunction
with the content of the subject in Polytechnic, with the educational documentary
video characteristics necessary and user friendly. This research involved 36 students
of the final semester of Diploma in Marketing at Port Dickson Polytechnic (PPD) as
research samples. Three instruments were used in this research namely educational
documentary videos in the form of CD-ROM for the 'Consumer Behavior' subject in
the title of Consumerism, questionnaire and pre and post test. The collected data was
analyzed using Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) version 11.5 which
involved mean values and standard deviation. The results of the research showed
that educational documentary video product in the form of CD-ROM was
constructed, received a satisfactory result. Mean values for its content was 4.15,
educational documentary video characteristics was 4.12 and the user friendly was
4.12. Standard deviation was 0.67 which was less than 1.00, which meant the
answers given by the respondents were stable in general. The production of
educational documentary video in the form of CD-ROM was constructed and could
still be improved the quality wise. The researcher hoped that would be an effort of
improvements and repairs which be carried out by the future researchers on the
purpose of upgrading the quality of the educational documentary videos in the form
of CD-ROM product |
