Summary: | This article aimed to shed light on contemporary administrative thought and Islamic administrative thought that relate to crisis leadership and the continuity of service provision. The leader must have some characteristics in order to face the crisis, and this is what Islamic and contemporary thoughts discuss: that one should have advance planning, efficiency, experience and the necessary skills, but Islam added that he must be patient and have honesty in leading the crisis to achieve effective management. Major limitations of this study are the time and geographical limitations required to conduct this study. The researcher seeks to make his study a new addition in the field of public administration.
