However, it has now been valorized as a precursor for low–cost activated carbon. This paper highlights the activation strategies and the adsorption performance of coffee waste activated carbons. Several activation strategies, which include physical and chemical methods, have been utilized by many scholars to synthesize activated carbon. Previous studies also demonstrate the applicability and promising potential of coffee waste activated carbons for organic and inorganic pollutants removal from aqueous solutions. |
