Description
Summary:The performance measurement of firms is not an easy task to achieve without a well-laid framework and the sufficiency of information. Usually, forecasting future performance relies on historical financial data without considering the intangible factor that might be able to influence long-term success. Corporate strategy is examined, in relation to the market risk level of property companies in UK. By using Sharpe's returns-based style analysis, this study is expected to identify the corporate strategy behaviour of property companies. By categorising the corporate strategy factor quantitatively, this research might be useful to managers in establishing their long-term strategy suited to the status of market risk.
