description Analysis on particle size and shape has become a crucial aspect especially in medical imaging and for on-line production control and because these factors influence the product quality and critical to human lives. Moreover, imaging of the particle size and shape generated from on-line measurement can provide greater insight into the process itself. Image reconstruction process for the Charge Coupled Device (CCD)- based optical tomography with four projections is discussed in this report. The high resolution CCD linear image sensor used in this project has 2048 pixels with a pixel size of 14 micron by 14 micron. The Sensitivity Matrix of attenuation coefficient up to 2048 pixel is created using C program. A simulation data from the experimental circuit will be tested on Matlab software to produce 2D images. The main algorithm involves to produce the 2D images is Linear Back Projection.
