description Rehabilitation technology device has attracted many researchers in this field, whereas the development of technology device for rehabilitation of sprained ankle is relatively new. During past few years, plenty of technology device have been proposed for ankle rehabilitation. To date, however no market products could be efficiently utilized to meet people’s ankle rehabilitation need in daily life. According to the development significance, this paper presents the background and details of existing devices for rehabilitation of ankle sprained, and proposes a new device based on existing product mechanism, gives a brief description of the new design specification of Integrated Multiple Ankle Technology Device (IMATD) and discusses the existing problems and the developing prospects in this field.
