Description
Summary:The authors truly appreciate the discusser for his insightful and valuable comments on our paper. In Section 2.5 of the discussed paper, the authors described the discusser’s work on the effect of high extension capacity fiber ropes as external confinement for square and plain reinforced concrete columns [1]; we confirm that this citation is correct. Meanwhile in Tables 1 and 4, the authors summarized other work by the discusser reporting testing of 24 standard plain concrete cylinders using low modulus vinylon and polypropylene fiber ropes which was published in his paper entitled “Elastic fiber ropes of ultrahigh-extension capacity in strengthening of concrete through confinement” [2]. The authors agree that they mistakenly cited another paper ([42] in discussed paper) in reference to these Tables and that the correct citation is [2]. Once again, the authors are thankful to the discusser for his interest in our paper and valuable feedback.
