Summary:The purpose of this study is to identify the impact of safety training practices on employee organizational commitment at a wire making organization in Johor Bahru. Questionnaires are used to collect data for this quantitative study. A total of 120 workers who attended safety training organized by the management were selected as respondents in this study. The data were collected using questionnaire as a study instrument and distributed to respondents. Data analysis is done using SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Science Windows 20) and is evaluated in terms of frequency, percentage, and min for items related to safety training practices and organizational commitment. In order to test the effect of safety training practices on organizational commitment, regression analysis is used. The results show that the practice of security training has affected the organizational commitment of the wire making organization in Johor Bahru (R = 0.129, p <0.000). Some recommendations are also forwarded for future researchers, organizations and workers in the organization.
