Lonely people have indicated that they are less happy, less satisfied, more pessimistic, and suffer from more depressive symptoms. The aim of present study was to examine loneliness as predictor of depression among unemployed. The scale of loneliness and Beck Depression Inventory II were administered on 68 unemployed participants age ranging from 20-35 years in Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh. Multiple Regression analysis was done for the analysis of data. Results revealed that loneliness significantly predict depression among unemployed. |
