The highest GRP value of 53.67 was obtained in the southernmost part of this study location. Kruskal–Wallis test on the median values of GRP data, reveals a statistically significant difference between the soil types and geological formations, with p = 0.018 and p = 0.046, respectively. The first radon potential map of Johor state is established, and three GRP hotspots were identified.
