description | Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) being one of the largest utilities in the Southeast Asia has embarked on enriching their GIS solutions suite for its business operations. A distribution station was chosen as a pilot project to run the business processes using GIS. The successful implementation is to be measured through its impact on the station day-today operations. Key success factors (KSF) were defined and will be measured with reference to component of GIS. The outcome of the measurement will guide the implementation of GIS nation-wide in TNB Distribution, Malaysia. This paper is aimed at providing insights for utilities who are keen in identifying those success factors and methodology of measuring the success of the GIS implementation. |
