Description
Summary:This study discusses how Analytic Hierarchy Process in applied to help decision makers in choosing the best graduating student to be awarded for academic excellence during the university convocation. A total of six criteria have been identified to guide the two groups of decision makers namely the administrative group and the student population,to identify the best candidate. The result shows that CGPA criterion is given the highest weight and candidate 1 deserves the award based on the weights for criteria given by both groups. This technique is suitable for implementation since it is consistent and can reduce bias.
