recognized and known globally especially for health, safety and hygiene.With a view of that,
a study on halal logistics is extremely important in ensuring the concept of halalness is not
only applicable for preparation, but also the process of managing the storage, handling of
raw materials, procurement, and transport. Those processes include either food or non-food
throughout the supply chain network with a compliance of the Shariah principles.The data
collection used in the paper is based from a series of interviews and publications. The study
would like to contribute some new findings in the halal logistics areas as well as for the
future studies. The results were also be recommended to be deeply discussed for the benefits and future practices of halal logistics companies in understanding the halalness concept. |
