description | The Malaysian Government has acquired a large shareholding in several Malaysian companies to meet national aspirations, social concerns and global challenges.Known as „Government-Linked Companies‟ or GLCs, they play a vital role in the country‟s economy.For the GLCs to sustain in the industry it is operated, it has to find ways to optimize the best practices in entrepreneurial orientation (EO) that can improve its organization competencies, particularly the performance. The data were collected from the firms meeting the criteria of government linked companies or GLCs throughout Malaysia.Administrative questionnaires have been distributed to all potential respondents and a total of 181 respondents finally reply the questionnaire completely.Descriptive statistics, correlation analysis and regression analysis
were run to test the research hypotheses. Results showed that EO in GLCs is positively related to
performance.The limitation suggest a gap for future research to be explored by validating others industry. |
