description Entrepreneurial behavior within organization (or corporate entrepreneurship) is an important aspect of organizational and economic development. Effective entrepreneurial behavior facilitates an organization to move forward toward successful future opportunities.Although a substantial body of research has advocated that entrepreneurial behavior has positive outcomes for employees, studies on the predictors of entrepreneurial behavior particularly among middle-level managers within the banking sector are relatively limited. Therefore, the objective of this paper is to provide a preliminary review of the literature and propose a model linking job autonomy and entrepreneurial behavior of middle-level managers within the Malaysian banking sector. In addition, emotional intelligence is explored as a credible moderator in the relationship between job autonomy and entrepreneurial behavior.
