Summary:Self-efficacy plays an important role in learning process.A number of ICT projects have been developed and introduced to fill the gap between the rural and urban area.This article presents a quantitative study on undergraduate students’ perceived computer self-efficacy from rural area. A total of 128 first semester undergraduate students participated in the survey, employing a 27-item questionnaire measuring computer self-efficacy.The items were pilot-tested before being administered to the respondents.Results of the study show that computer self-efficacy level is high.In term of basic and advanced computer self-efficacy also high but still some of computer skills need to be look at.The outcome of the study indicates rural community has adopted the ICT as part of their lifestyle.
