Lean manufacturing practices (LMP) can lead to competitive advantage by boosted the productivity and quality and as well as reducing the cost. LMP also considered as a manufacturing philosophy that engaged to global manufacturing excellence by adopting in the organizations. However, numerous studies found that some challenging relating the orientation of lean manufacturing operations system with sustainability goals and practices. For now, abundant of researchers found that manufacturing performance can arouse sustainability in the long term. Therefore, manufacturing performance (MP) is proposed as potential mediator on LMP and sustainability in the present study. |
