| description | This paper discussed the results of the exploratory study conducted at Yayasan Daarut Tauhiid (DT), Bandung Indonesia. This paper only focuses on the history of DT and its influence on the people around Bandung and Indonesia. The findings from participation observation and interview methods revealed that in the beginning of the operations, DT as an Islamic organization was established to focus on Islamic education. Still, the founder of the DT has been using the concept of ‘preaching during selling’ while delivering speeches on the Islamic theology. DT’s founder has followed the practice done by Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in business, that in every business conversation, messages about Islam must be communicated. This study also found that DT implements various Islamic practices as the main basis in the management of their Islamic missionary, schools, businesses, and social responsibilities. Until now, DT is one of the influential Islamic Institution in Bandung, Indonesia and give benefits to the residential area. A leader is a main actor in Islamic management process. |
