These schools of thoughts have played a significant role in the development of public
administration paradigm. This paper seeks to explore the contribution of management
school of thought to the development of public administration as a field of studies and
practice. The paper concludes that management school of thought have contributed immensely to the development of public administration as a field of study and practice.
