Summary: | Entrepreneurship has been a career option for graduates, also an important element for employability. Employers demand graduates with entrepreneurial skills to equip them to perform in enterprising conduct to prepare themselves for the future in a challenging business environment. The objective of this research is to encourage students to go onboard with technopreneurship. Many UUM students are exposed to technopreneurship within the campus and online, hence, we have 15 participants partaking in our focus group discussion based on the Business Model Canvas. We
found that, while they have the desire and enthusiasm to explore the opportunities offered by entrepreneurship, they are lacking in the knowledge of social media platforms. The researchers aim to fill in this gap to assist the students to be enthusiastic technopreneurs, with added value to their existing technopreneurs skills, that is to utilize social media platforms. A framework was produced from this research, as a guidance tool for the students to embark further on endorsing their product online. This research is important because the competitiveness competition in employability is rising each year. Future studies may embark on a larger sample to benefit others, especially youth from various academic backgrounds
