Dynamic constitutive model of titanium alloy Ti-6Al-4V for high speed cutting: a review by JIANG Ziwei, YANG Dong, CHEN Jianbin

Published 2023-08-01
“…At the same time, it is proposed that the construction of phenomenology-physics composite constitutive model can be taken as the key direction to explore the dynamic constitutive model of titanium alloy, and the method of experiment and computer synchronization can be used to obtain the optimal solution of constitutive model parameters, so as to improve the prediction accuracy of dynamic constitutive model.…”

Yield Hardening of Electrorheological Fluids in Channel Flow by Helal, Ahmed H., Qian, Bian, McKinley, Gareth H, Hosoi, Anette E

Published 2017
“…However, significant yield hardening in pressure-driven channel flow is observed and attributed to an increase and eventual saturation of the particle volume fraction in the channel. A phenomenological physical model linking the densification and consequent microstructure to the ratio of the particle aggregation time scale compared to the convective time scale is presented and used to predict the enhancement in yield stress in channel flow, enabling us to reconcile discrepancies in the literature between wall-driven and pressure-driven flows.…”

Quo Vadis Nonlinear Optics? An Alternative and Simple Approach to Third Rank Tensors in Semiconductors by Hendradi Hardhienata, Salim Faci, Adalberto Alejo-Molina, Mohammad Ryan Priatama, Husin Alatas, Muhammad Danang Birowosuto

Published 2022-01-01
“…Our analysis is based on a light–matter interaction classical phenomenological physical framework. Rather than just looking at the symmetry of the crystal, the model applies physical considerations requiring fewer independent parameters in the tensor than GT. …”

Microstructure evolution and constitutive modeling of as-cast A356 aluminum alloy in semi-solid deformation regime by A.H. Boluri Gashti, H.R. Abedi, M.T. Salehi

Published 2023-05-01
“…Under these conditions, the specimens were deformed up to the high strain level (>0.5) without creating cracks or tearing under very low stresses less than 2 MPa. A phenomenological-physical constitutive equation was also developed considering deformation parameters (temperature, strain rate, and strain) and material's parameters (grain size, strain rate sensitivity, viscosity) which was capable of predicting the semisolid flow stress behavior of the material.…”
