Influence of anchor uncertainty on the failure probability of reinforced slope by Shangshang Wang, Fu Chen, Dongxian Li, Houlai Lin, Zhiliang Liu, Liang Li

    Published 2022-03-01
“…The limit equilibrium method and Monte Carlo sampling method are used to calculate and compare the variation curve of the failure probability of the reinforced slope through two approaches. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed method is validated against an example of the slope retaining project of the Shenzhen Holiday Inn foundation pit.The results show that the failure probability of the reinforced slope increases gradually with the increase range in the coefficient of variation of unit surface friction on the contact surface between the anchor and the anchor solid under the same soil statistical parameters, and the increase range is between 18.03% and 41.90% for the first approach. …”

Association between atmospheric particulate matters and outpatient visits for respiratory disorders in Jiaxing City of Zhejiang Province from 2019 to 2021: a time series analysis by HONG Weiwei, ZHOU Zhehua, ZHU Guoying, ZHU Ze, WANG Xibei, WU Yikang

    Published 2023-02-01
“…ObjectiveTo explore the effect of exposure to atmospheric particulate matters on the outpatient visits of respiratory disorders in Jiaxing City,Zhejiang Province.MethodsDaily air pollutant monitoring data, meteorological data and outpatient visits of respiratory disorders in Jiaxing City from 2019 to 2021 were collected.A generalized additive model was applied to evaluate the effect and laggeel effect of the concentrations of atmospheric particulates for outpatient visits of respiratory disorders after adjusting for secular trend, day-of-the-week effect, holiday effect, and meteorological variables.ResultsThe daily average concentrations of PM2.5, PM10, O3 and NO2 exceeded the standard, and the proportion of days exceeding the standard was 3.4%, 1.3%, 11.0% and 0.8%, respectively. …”

Investigation of influencing factors of stunting in children aged 3‒4 years in Changning District, Shanghai by ZHANG Jiaqi, BO Fang, XU Jiao

    Published 2023-11-01
“…Binary logistic multivariate regression analysis showed that shorter parental height (OR=4.35, 95%CI:1.20‒15.84 and OR=3.49, 95%CI:1.43‒8.51), low birth weight (OR=2.99,95%CI:1.28‒7.05), multiple or twin pregnancies (OR=3.78,95%CI:1.29‒11.06), short outdoor playtime during weekends and holidays (OR=2.34,95%CI:1.02‒5.46), frequent nighttime waking (OR=1.89, 95%CI:1.06‒3.39), and consuming fewer fruits daily (OR=1.81, 95%CI: 1.01‒3.26) significantly increased the risk of stunting.ConclusionLow parental height, low birth weight, being twins or multiples, limited outdoor playtime during holidays, frequent nighttime waking, and low daily fruit consumption are major risk factors for stunting in infants and children.…”

Characteristics of power load in Wuhan and its relationship with meteorological factors by Jing LIU, Lijuan WANG, Dan CHENG, Juan DAI, Yongjian REN, Ming Gu

    Published 2023-04-01
“…The distributions of diurnal variation characteristics are "high in the day and low in the night" in four seasons. (3) The power load of working days and weekends is significantly higher than that in holidays, and the power load is slightly higher on weekdays than on weekends the morning peak load is the largest on workdays, while the evening peak load is the largest on weekends and holidays. (4) Meteorological factors have an important impact on the electricity consumption of the whole society, and the relationship between meteorological sensitive load and daily average temperature is most significant in summer. …”

Intra-City Logistics Connection and Network Structure from the Perspective of Flow Space: A Case Study of Shenzhen City by Zhou Huan, Huang Jin, Zou Xiao

    Published 2023-10-01
“…The following conclusions are drawn. 1) There are 12 logistics hub nodes in Shenzhen, including the Songgang Industrial Zone, Yantian Port, and Pinghu Logistics Park, based on the infrastructure of large industrial clusters, advanced technology industrial zones, and integrated logistics parks. 2) Intra-city logistics activities are mainly concentrated on weekdays; in contrast, on weekends, logistics activities are severely inhibited by factors such as frequent activities of residents during holidays and delayed construction of planned roads. 3) The overall internal logistics linkage is weak, with logistics activities concentrated in the Guangzhou-Shenzhen axis, showing a spatial pattern of "dense in the west and sparse in the east", but the existing logistics infrastructure is mostly located in the central part of the city, which results in a misaligned layout of logistics activities heading west and logistics facilities being distributed in the middle. 4) The logistics linkage feature "heterogeneous attraction" is obvious: the logistics activities of different types of nodes tend to flow towards specific areas, gradually forming a logistics corridor with "airport-industrial area-coastal port-logistics park" as the axis. …”
