Temporal interaction of hybrid signals in various phases of Eu3+: BiPO4 through photon–phonon dressing by Yuan Zhao, Muhammad Imran, Anas Mujahid, Irfan Ahmed, Changbiao Li, Faisal Nadeem, Yanpeng Zhang

    Published 2022-01-01
“…In pretext, here we report the spectral and temporal profile interaction of two lasers excitation through various phases of Eu ^3+ : BiPO _4 crystals. We reveal that spectral-temporal profile interaction of hybrid signals (coexisting fluorescence and spontaneous four-wave mixing) are dressed by nested and cascade processes of two-photons (two-phonon). …”

Fabrication of Highly Porous Polymeric Nanocomposite for the Removal of Radioactive U(VI) and Eu(III) Ions from Aqueous Solution by Tansir Ahamad, Mu. Naushad, Mohd Ubaidullah, Saad Alshehri

    Published 2020-12-01
“…The adsorption isotherm well fits with the Langmuir adsorption isotherm and the correlation coefficient (R2) values were found to be 0.9920 and 0.9913 for the adsorption of U(VI) and Eu(III), respectively. It was noticed that the fabricated nanocomposites show excellent regeneration ability and about 220.1 and 211.3 mg/g adsorption capacity remains with U(VI) and Eu(III) under optimum conditions.…”

Characterization of CBD-CdS Doped with Some Rare Earths III (Eu3+,Ce3+) as Function of Synthesis Time by Mariana Enelia Linares-Avilés, Jorge Indalecio Contreras-Rascón, Joel Díaz-Reyes, Javier Martínez-Juárez, Roberto Saúl Castillo-Ojeda, Miguel Galván-Arellano, José Abraham Balderas-Lopez, Mario Álvarez-Ramos

    Published 2018-02-01
“…The room-temperature photoluminescence of CdS presents the band-to-band transition at 431 nm, which is associated with quantum confinement because the grain size is less than its Bohr exciton radius and a dominant band at 523 nm, which is called the optical signature of interstitial oxygen. Eu3+-doped CdS photoluminescence shows the dominant radiative peak at 576 nm that is associated to the intra-4f radiative transition of Eu3+ ions, which corresponds to the magnetic dipole transition, (5D0→7F1). …”

Role of La3+ ion substitution sites on the photoluminescence properties of the SrTiO3:Eu3+ phosphors by G. Jyothi, K.G. Gopchandran

    Published 2020-06-01
“…The consequence of the site selective substitution of La3+ ions in modifying the local crystal structure in red emitting titanate perovskites and the resulting enhancement of the luminescence properties were investigated in two distinct series of red phosphors of Sr1-x-yLaxTiO3:yEu3+ and Sr1-x/2-yLaxTi1-x/2O3:yEu3+. Herein, the red emission line was found sharply magnified for the substitutions at the Sr2+ sites whereas broad peaks resembling the emission from the La2O3:Eu3+ red phosphor were detected for the substitution at both Sr2+ and Ti4+ sites, in the experiment of altering substitution sites of the La3+ ions in Sr1-xTiO3:xEu3+. …”
