Research on heating technology of regenerative oxidation used low concentration CBM in small coal mine by Wang Jian-Jun

    Published 2021-01-01
“…Aiming at the problems such as low CBM utilization rate caused by low concentration CBM with methane content less than 8% extracted from a small coal mine in Hancheng mining area, Shaanxi Province, and serious environmental pollution caused by coal-fired hot blast stove for heating, the heat storage and oxidation heating technology of ultra-low concentration gas in small coal mine was studied by combining field investigation and heat balance calculation, and ultra-low concentration gas regenerative oxidation was obtained through thermal oxidation technology scheme. …”

The in-situ stress of coal reservoirs in east margin of Ordos Basin and its influence on coalbed methane development by Li Yong, Tang Dazhen, Meng Shangzhi, Wu Peng

    Published 2017-10-01
“…For a better analysis of the in-situ stress distribution and its influence on coalbed methane exploration and development in east margin of Ordos Basin, the evolution of in-situ stress field and its variation of horizental and vertical extensions were acquired, and its effect on coalbed methane reservoirs was discussed, based on regional tectonic evolution and injection falloff well test parameters. The results show that:the direction of principal stress changed from NW-SE in Yanshan Movement to the NE-SW in Xishan Movement, which released the strata compaction to some extent;the lateral pressure coefficient is generally lower than 1, which shows that the study area is of an tension environment;the present reservoir pressures are low, result in the most of the reservoirs in under-pressure conditions;the in-situ stresses generally show a positive linear relationship with depth, which are generally banded by the 800~1, 100 m, with the deeper strata in more compressed conditions. The study area is generally favorable for coalbed methane development, however, different areas show different development transition depths, with the Liulin area of 800 m and Hancheng of 1, 000 m.…”

Fracture propagation and evolution law of indirect fracturing in the roof of broken soft coal seams by Haifeng Zhao, Pengyue Li, Xuejiao Li, Wenjie Yao

    Published 2024-01-01
“…In this work, the No. 5 coal seam in the Hancheng block was taken as the research object. Based on the findings of true triaxial hydraulic fracturing experiments and field pilot under this technology and the cohesive element method, a 3D numerical model of indirect fracturing in the roof of broken soft coal seams was established, the fracture morphology propagation and evolution law under different conditions was investigated, and analysis of main controlling factors of fracture parameters was conducted with the combination weight method, which was based on grey incidence, analytic hierarchy process and entropy weight method. …”

Pyrolysis characteristics and microstructure evolution of different coal types by Yanpeng Chen, Zhenyong Yin, Fenjin Sun, Hao Xu, Jingjie Wu, Fangliang Fu

    Published 2023-01-01
“…The results show that the pyrolysis gas output of Inner Mongolia lignite is higher than that of Xinjiang long flame coal and Hancheng bituminous coal. With the increase of coal rank, the gas output of each gas component also shows a decreasing trend and the initial temperature and peak temperature of various gases gradually shift to high temperature. …”
