Non-equilibrium dynamics of a double-well Bose–Einstein condensate-dual reservoir system
Published 2021“…We have studied the dynamics of a two-site Bose–Einstein condensate subject to tunnelling coupling (which makes the system a bosonic Josephson junction), having on-site inter-particle interaction (making the system a small Bose–Hubbard model) and in contact with two separate heat baths, which makes the system lossy and potentially drives it into a non-equilibrium state with some heat current. …”

Microstructure and superconducting properties of Y-Ba(Ca/K)-Cu-O (Y-123 and Y-358) systems synthesized using thermal treatment method
Published 2018“…The intergranular critical current density, Jcm, of pure Y-123 and Y-358, 34.4 A cm-2 and 34.7 A cm-2 respectively, increased to 35 Acm-2 at (x=0.08) and 36.3 Acm-2 at (x=0.2) for Ca substituted Y-123 and Y-358, respectively and K to 35 Acm-2 at (x=0.1) and 38.8 Acm-2 at (x=0.12) for Ca substituted Y-123 and Y-358, respectively, which could be due the improvement of the grain boundary and the hence the grains’ coupling. On the other hand, Josephson current, Io, and Josephson energy, Ej decreased and increased with the Ca and K concentration respectively due to degrading and coupling between the grain connectivity. …”

Superconductivity of Y2O3 and BaZrO3 nanoparticles co-added YBa2Cu3O7− δ bulks prepared using co-precipitation method
Published 2018“…Tc-onset was decreased with co-addition of Y2O3 and BZO probably because of reduced hole concentration. The higher Josephson’s current, Io of the samples with co-addition of 0.0–2.0 mol% BZO compared with that of the pure one is likely to be due to improved grain coupling as shown by the AC susceptibility measurement. …”
