Improved limits on B[superscript 0] decays to invisible (+γ) final states by Dujmic, Denis, Sciolla, Gabriella, Cowan, Ray F

    Published 2013
“…Using 471×10[superscript 6] BB̅ pairs collected at the Υ(4S) resonance by the BABAR experiment at the PEP-II e[superscript +]e[superscript -] storage ring at the SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory, we establish upper limits at the 90% confidence level of 2.4×10-5 for the branching fraction of B[superscript 0]→invisible and 1.7×10[superscript -5] for the branching fraction of B[superscript 0]→invisible+γ.…”

Study of high-multiplicity three-prong and five-prong τ decays at BABAR by Dujmic, Denis, Sciolla, Gabriella, Cowan, Ray F

    Published 2013
“…We present measurements of the branching fractions of three-prong and five-prong τ decay modes using a sample of 430 million τ lepton pairs, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 468  fb[superscript -1], collected with the BABAR detector at the PEP-II asymmetric-energy e[superscript +]e[superscript -] storage rings at SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory. The τ[superscript -]→(3π)[superscript -]ην[subscript τ], τ[superscript -]→(3π)[superscript -]ων[subscript τ], and τ[superscript -]→π[superscript -]f[subscript 1](1285)ν[subscript τ] branching fractions are presented, as well as a new limit on the branching fraction of the second-class current decay τ[superscript -]→π-η′(958)ντ. …”

Study of e[superscript +]e[superscript -]→pp̅ via initial-state radiation at BABAR by Sciolla, Gabriella, Cowan, Ray F, Dujmic, Denis

    Published 2013
“…The process e[superscript +]e[superscript -]→pp̅ γ is studied using 469  fb[superscript -1] of integrated luminosity collected with the BABAR detector at the SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory, at an e[superscript +]e[superscript -] center-of-mass energy of 10.6 GeV. …”

    Search for lepton-number violating B[superscript +] → X[superscript −]ℓ[superscript +]ℓ[superscript ′+] decays by Dujmic, Denis, Sciolla, Gabriella, Cowan, Ray F

    Published 2014
    “…We report on a search for eleven lepton-number violating processes B[superscript +] → X[superscript −]ℓ[superscript +]ℓ[superscript '+] with X[superscript −] = K[superscript −], π[superscript −], ρ[superscript −], K[superscript *−], or D[superscript −] and ℓ[superscript +]/ℓ[superscript '+] = e[superscript +] or μ[superscript +], using a sample of 471±3 million B[¯ over B] events collected with the BABAR detector at the PEP-II e[superscript +]e[superscript −] collider at the SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory. We find no evidence for any of these modes and place 90% confidence level upper limits on their branching fractions in the range (1.5–26)×10[superscript −7].…”

B meson decays to charmless meson pairs containing eta or eta' mesons by Aubert, B, Karyotakis, Y, Lees, J, Poireau, V, Prencipe, E, Prudent, X, Tisserand, V, Tico, J, Grauges, E, Martinelli, M, Palano, A, Pappagallo, M, Eigen, G, Stugu, B, Sun, L, Battaglia, M, Brown, D, Kerth, LT, Kolomensky, Y, Lynch, G, Osipenkov, I, Tackmann, K, Tanabe, T, Hawkes, C, Soni, N

    Published 2009
“…The data represent the full data set of 467×106 BB̄ pairs collected with the BABAR detector at the PEP-II asymmetric-energy e+e- collider at the SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory. Besides large signals for the four charged B decay modes and for B0→η′K0, we find evidence for three B0 decay modes at greater than 3.0σ significance. …”
