Sensitivity and Uncertainty Analysis of SWAT Model in Flow, Sediment and Phosphorus Simulation for a Mountainous Watershed (Case Study of Karaj River Catchment) by Sh. Nourinezhad, M.M. Rajabi, T. Fathi

    Published 2022-06-01
“…The best Nash-Sutcliffe (NS) coefficients for runoff, sediment, and total phosphorus simulation obtained in all stations and after full calibration and validation periods were equal to 0.76, 0.56, and 0.92, respectively. Simulation of the peak points of the diagram of all three quantities was also associated with increased uncertainty and decreased model prediction accuracy, but due to the placement of more than 70% of the measured runoff and sediment values and nearly 60% of the measured total phosphorus values in the prediction uncertainty boundaries generated by SUFI2 algorithm the final value of the parameters used in the calibration process can be appropriate for simulating future scenarios in similar mountain catchments. …”

Spatio-temporal variation of meteorological drought and its relation with temperature and vegetation condition indices using remote sensing and satellite imagery in Marvdasht city by Ramin Mardani, Hossein Montaseri, Mehdi Fazeli, Reza Khalili

    Published 2022-10-01
“…From the comparison of the average SPI values for the studied years with the values obtained from the two indices, TCI and VCI obtained from satellite imagery, the highest amount of correlation coefficient between TCI and six-month SPI was equal to 0.65, which indicates that the TCI satellite index is the optimal index to indicate the drought situation in Marvdasht city. …”
